Environmental Policy

Thermoservices Limited recognises its duty, during the provision of its services, to act in a responsible manner to limit its impact on the environment. This includes procurement of materials and equipment as well as the potential impact on waterways and the surrounding environment.

Our ongoing duty includes consideration to:

  • Control and use of resources from renewable stocks
  • Release of harmful products to land, air and water
  • Causation of noise and vibration
  • Visual and aesthetic impact
  • Transportation of equipment and materials

We have a general duty of care to the environment and are concerned for the protection and enhancement of the environment in which we live and work.

Our key policy aims are:

  • Minimise the consumption of non-renewable resources
  • Maximise use of renewable resources

  • Continuously improve our environmental performance

This will be achieved by:

  • Ensuring that sufficient resources and finances are made available
  • Monitoring progress against targets
  • Insertion of the policy within the management system
  • Delegating responsibility to job managers for implementing the practices of this policy
  • Rewarding individuals who in the course of their duties make outstanding contributions to environmental protection
  • Training personnel in awareness of environmental issues and encouraging their commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ensuring that environmental issues are given equal status to that given to health, safety and quality
